What does the future hold for Covid-19?

Vaccine production takes a long time. In order to produce a vaccine, they first need to develop a vaccine that works in stimulating a immune reaction and develops a immune resistance to the target disease. The good news is that there are several teams working towards this and a few have found a possible vaccine. The unfortunate part is that the long part has yet to happen. Clinical testing on the vaccine are required to insure that there are no long term problems with the disease. These check on many worries, such as autism and auto-immune responses. With the SARS outbreak in 2003, it took 20 months for the vaccine to be developed. While it might not take that long, it will definitely be a bit before the vaccine will be developed. To keep yourself healthy, make sure to wash your hands, minimize physical contact with others, and to not touch your face.

Do Vaccines Cause Autism?

Vaccines do not cause autism. Several studies have been conducted and have proved that there is no link between the two. The myth came from a medical paper published in the Lancet in 1998. The study contained falsified data and was only conducted on 12 children.

Are there Toxic Substances in Vaccines?

Inside vaccines are chemicals that help speed up the process of developing an immunity or increase the response. While some of these chemicals can be toxic in large doses, there is not enough in the vaccine to cause any harm. All vaccines go through several tests and are administered to millions of people, so they are safe. If you are worried about a particular chemical or protein that is used, check with your doctor or look it up using one of the trust worthy sites found on the information page.

Is it Safe to Give Infants so Many Vaccines at Once?

Shortly after birth, infants are given a dozen or so vaccines. Babies are exposed to many harmful microbes the moment they're born. For the first couple of months, the baby has some of the mother's antibodies to help protect the body. However, they don't have much of an immune system yet, so they are extremely susceptible to diseases. Those initial vaccines help keep them safe from potentially deadly diseases. The main focus is to help build an immune response in the infant.

What is Herd Immunity?

Often when people give a reason to why it's important to vaccinate, they talk about herd immunity. Herd immunity is where people who are immune to the disease protect those who aren't. People who are vaccinated help slow or prevent the movement of a disease from person to person. However, it only works well if anyone who can get vaccinated gets vaccinated. Herd immunity does work, in fact, it's the reason Polio and Small Pox are gone.

Why do we Need to get New Flu Vaccines Every Year?

The flu virus evolves quickly. Last year's flu virus vaccine probably won't protect you from the new flu virus. Each year you face a different flu virus, so it's important to get vaccinated. While the flu virus is usually very mild, it can be fatal. Please get vaccinated.

Do Vaccines Make You Sick?

After getting a vaccine, you may feel pain, chills, and may experience swelling or a fever. This is not you getting sick. These are just signs that your body is developing an immunity.

Are Vaccines Tested For Safety?

Vaccines are tested through the FDA and approved through six processes: the completion of an Investigational New Drug application, pre-licensure vaccine clinical trials, the completion of a Biologics License Application (BLA), inspection of the manufacturing facility, presentation of findings to FDA's Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee, and usability testing of product labeling.

Is There a Connection Between Autism and Daptacel?

Daptacel is an important vaccine that protects against Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis (whooping cough). Like many vaccines, it has the chance to give patients soreness or swelling where the shot was given, fever, irritability, feeling tired, loss of appetite, or vomiting for minor symptoms. Very rarely will more severe reactions occur. However, a question asked about how autism relates to this specific vaccine. The document provided from the FDA does mention autism once on page 11, which is a part of the procedure portion of the document. Due to the common misconception that vaccines cause autism, they were looking for connections between autism and the vaccine. However, no connection between autism and the vaccine were found in any of the clinical trials. In other words the vaccine Daptacel does not cause autism.

Aluminum in Vaccines

Aluminum is added to vaccines to increase the body’s response to the dead microbe in the vaccine. Aluminum is found in the air, food, and water. It is the 3rd most abundant element in the Earth’s crust, higher than Iron, Hydrogen, and Calcium. The 𝜇g (micrograms. One millionth of a gram. One billionth of a kilogram) of aluminum in vaccines are negligible in comparison to the other things children consume, and the body can handle some amounts of aluminum.

Mercury in Vaccines

METHYLmercury is a toxic substance that is found in some fish. ETHYLmercury is found in Thimerosal and is perfectly safe. Ethylmercury has an additional carbon with hydrogens, so it passes safely through the body. Thimerosal is added to vaccines to prevent growth of other dangerous microbes. Most vaccines DO NOT contain Thimerosal, and it is being removed or reduced from vaccines.

Formaldehyde in Vaccines

Formaldehyde is a carcinogenic (cancer linked) chemical and causes some people to be concerned about its appearance in some vaccines. Formaldehyde is used to weaken/kill the microbe (such as Polio and the Flu). While this might sound scary, human bodies contain a certain concentration of Formaldehyde naturally. The amount of Formaldehyde in vaccines that contain in negligible in relationship to the amount that naturally appears in the human body. The body naturally processes formaldehyde like any other chemical consumed. Formaldehyde is primarily dangerous if inhaled, and it is only dangerous in this sense if you work with formaldehyde (specifically biologists who use it as a preservative). Ultimately, the formaldehyde in vaccines is only 1-2% of the formaldehyde present in infants.

There is good evidence to show that the brain abnormalities associated with autism occur during prenatal development.

Thank you for your dedication to this topic. Couple points I don't understand.
1. For herd immunity to work you state that the majority of people need to be vaccinated, most adults...ran out of room!
